Perfection? Almost everyone seeks it but %99.99 percent never find it. The reason for that is they don’t really know what they are looking for. With that said what really is perfection? Is it scoring %100 on a test? Is it acquiring the body you think that will attract the opposite sex every single time? Maybe its meeting someone that meets every single criteria you have physically and idealistically? Sorry to be the night that will damper any great day but maybe that %100 is one person’s idea of a %100 but a %99 to someone else or that body that you worked so hard to obtain is ugly to another person and that one person you were so convinced met everything you were looking for, in time will change and suddenly they become a totally person from the person you first met. Perfection is almost impossible to obtain so who is he/she to say who’s perfect and who’s not especially when it comes to judging another person. What makes them so perfect that they can call out your big ears, buck teeth, short in stature, or big feet? In reality they are masking their own imperfections by pointing out others. If you really think about in a perfect world everyone would be exactly the same physically and idealistically robbing us of our individuality and becoming drones in a “perfect” world. In my opinion its people imperfections that distinguish them and I admire in people. Call me weird and I’ll admit it too but I like big foreheads, big feet, ect. I think its people’s imperfections that make them perfect.
I find it strange as the guy who can’t commit that for once its not me having the problems committing. Rationally speaking, I know you have so much in front of you and I don’t want to become another road block who’ll hold you back from living and making your own mistakes. I smile at the fact of your irrationality and that unwavering hopefulness that I envy. Your unfaltering ideals that attracted me to you in the first place, I hope you never loose but reality would have it that you grow up like the rest of us. So up until that time I’ll be a few steps behind you so I can catch you if you ever falter.
